Evening Cruise down the Erie Canal

Tonight we decided to take my parents on a evening cruise on the Erie Canal.  We had so much fun and it was a beautiful evening.  We meet a really fun young couple who we chatted with for quite awhile.  The cruise went to the locks and it was so fun to see the water rise and lower to enter the next part of the canal.  We try to do fun things around the area we live because we never know how long we are going to be there.  So we can check another box off things to do around Rochester, New York.

Court for the Boys

Went to court today for the boys that I have had in my care for 2 years.  I have been so uneasy about it and not been able to sleep.  They were going to decide if their mother gets them back or not.  Of course she has not finished any of her treatments she has suppose to do and it's been 2 years.  I don't want to rant how screwed up the system is but I think they should considered the rights of the children and not just the parents.  They postponed the court until next month so cross your fingers that they will start the proceedings to terminate there rights.  We love these boys so much and count even imagine our lives without them.

This is our sweet little MiaBella that has been in our home since May of last year.  We are in the process of adopting her and we are so excited she will finally be ours. We are hoping it will be finalized before the end of the year.  She is such a joy to us and we can't think of our lives without her.  She is quite the little dancer and singer, loves her older sisters but can hang with the boys. Wish us luck....

Well here I go starting my new blog.  I wanted to share with others about being a Mother of 7 especially that I am of mother of three small children in my later 40's. Cooking clean and healthy, trying to exercise in all this madness. Crafting and decorating on a dime which is my passion.  Hope you enjoy!
